...lively and fit like a fiddle has profited from staying in since the weather turned really bad. He and Leporello spend mornings in Nimrod's field. They and some other horses we have kept in feed since the beginning of December. Extra minerals and vitamins more then the grain I think have kept them in good shape. Leporello also today presented himself lively and in perfect posture: good to start the new season.
This years research is entitled How to Learn and Teach Riding. And that is what it is. To me, the teacher, it is not at all evident how to teach riding. Too many facets of false posture and muscle actions play into modern man on the horse. Countless misconception concerning riding and how it functions are to be undone befor a rider can get to the simplicity of the thing itself. But I am learning and so are the riders. They learn how to rest on the horse, accompany and help it to be at its best. I learn how to detect faults and make suggestions on how to alliviate them.

And not to forget; thanks, honor and glory be to Him, who created all. We see His phantastic, clean, grande ideas in His creation. This concerns that, which meets the eye as much as that, which opens only on close examination. All speaks of Him. But there is another law in life.
