A great deal of thought and discussion went into the question, if we should use the skeleton we call Ideal or also Sinja's as-is skeleton to illustrate the horse's Bewegungsaparat (kinetic aparatus). We ended up juxtaposing Ideal (above) and Sinja (a cleaned up version of Sinja-as-is), using the latter as well in a few illustration, as indicated.
The 3D skeleton Sinja represent Sinja's skeleton at the time of her death age 25 only to a degree. A Sinja-as-is version, showing all malformation, distortions and disintegrations may be the worthwhile subject of scientific study or a disseration. It demonstrates the results of early race training on a horse's structure and permits conclusions both on breeding and on amendments of racing regulations to avoid such damages.
