Welcome to the first version of the a.i.s. website. Rather than fixing it once and for all, it will change regularly to reflect what is going on and happening.
Here you see Christine on Fallada, who greets a friend and the companion of her youth Leporello. Leporello was six weeks old and lonely, when - just in time, in May twelve years ago - the next foal, Fallada, was born. Today both horses participate in study-horsemanship, a research of the physiology of equitation.
Fall 2009
Reflections on the pond are dimming. And one wonders what has become of the young foxes who peacefully played in the chemins right next to the horse's pastures not so long ago.

The exhibition August Sander: "Voir, observer et penser" at the Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson opened September 9, 2009. It will continue through mid-December 2009. Don't miss it if/when you are in Paris.

Dieser Text, der auch als Taschenbuch - aber im Moment vergriffen - erschienen ist, entstand unter dem Eindruck von fast fünf Jahren, die ich praktisch nur zu Pferd verbracht habe. This text, in a short German version, was first published in 2007. The first four of sixteen chapters of the English on-line version have been expanded in Winter 2009. Testing the additional information is "study-horsemanship's" daily work these days. Twelve more chapters await additions. Some restructuring has taken place. Final conclusions will have to wait.
